Juve: sprint for Sturaro. Inter: Murillo farther

Also Juventus are working to reinforce their team’s defense, and, as reported in the last days, have failed in the attempt of bringing 20-year-old Daniele Rugani –currently in co-ownership with Empoli and playing for the azzurri- in Turin during the current transfer window: in any case, the bianconeri will try to acquire now the Tuscan club’s 50% of the player. Similar attempt for Genoa 20-year-old midfielder Stefano Sturaro, but in this case, the Serie A defending champions seem intended to carry out the negotiation and to obtain the Italy Under-21 national immediately. As reported earlier, the Piedmont’s club is also seeking a new forward, and it seems extremely difficult for them to sign Sassuolo 23-year-old Simone Zaza during the current transfer window: as outlined by calciomercato.com, Juve have not yet renounced to the Italy international, but will have a chance only if the neroverdi won’t loose next Sunday to Inter Milan: the main alternative to Zaza remains the nerazzurri 29-year-old Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, while 32-year-old Antonio Cassano –currently a free agent- and AC Milan 30-year-old Gian Paolo Pazzini don’t seem credible options. The Lombard club keeps on working to bring Granada 22-year-old defender Jeison Murillo, but the Nazaríes have not yet found the substitute of the Colombia international.
