As already explained, Juventus are extremely active on the transfer market, expecially regarding the midfield, where they could loose some of their cornerstones: the bianconeri have in fact some problems in extending the contract of 20 year old Paul Pogba, and to accomplish the Frenchman’s requests could decide to renounce to 34 year old Andrea Pirlo, whose contract will expire at the end of the season; also for this reasons, the Piedmontese club, according to Tuttosport, is ready to offer a two-year deal at 4,5 million euros per season to Real Madrid 31 year old Xabi Alonso, if he will join in June when he will become a free agent; more difficult to sign the Spain international in January as the Merengues require 6 million euros to let him go; moreover, in the last days the Serie A defending champions have sent their agents to Germany to observe Schalke 04 20 year old Julian Draxler. Juve are also seeking a defender, and, as well known, are keen on FC Basel 22 year old Fabian Schar, but, to obtain the Switzerland international, the bianconeri will also have to compete with Arsenal.

Regarding the defenders, 31 year old Philippe Mexes is having an extremely positive season at AC Milan: the contract of the France international with the rossoneri will expire in June 2015, and the Lombard club could finally decide to extend it.
