Juventus-Inter: preview and probable lineups of the Derby of Italy

  • Mirko Laurenti
Tonight is the night. The Derby of Italy will take place since Juventus and Inter will face each other. Winning to keep chasing any possible record on one side, three points to keep the championship alive on the other. The records are in favour of Bianconeri and Inter is the team against which Juventus has won more Serie A matches. The last victory of Spalletti’s team dates back to September 18, 2016, when they won 2-1 at San Siro.

The goal of the Bianconeri will be to continue their record-breaking march: with a victory they could make the best start after 15 matchdays in the five major European championships. Alex Sandro, Khedira and Barzagli will be out due to injuries.

On the other hand, Inter will try to consolidate the third place, in order to qualify for the next Champions League. As announced by Spalletti at the press conference, Nainggolan won’t be part of the match and he won’t leave for Turin. Dalbert is also out.
