Juventus looking for bargains in Jose’s Old Trafford clearout

It looks like the Jose Mourinho will involve a lot of squad turnover, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils have flattered to deceive so far this season, managing only sixth place so far in Premier League action, a whole eleven points off the top spot, occupied by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

This has obviously prompted a furious reaction from the Special One, who has already marginalized a number of players. This includes Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo, Anthony Martial and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Could this help Juventus in January? The Mancunian paper claims that both Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay are high on Juventus’ priority list.

The Bianconeri’s defence is ageing, and is lacking fullback options for the future, with Patrice Evra ageing and Daniel Alves struggling to fit in at the J Stadium.

Depay, for his part, could be that wildcard who helps Juventus add some flair to their game. Then again, nobody in Turin will have forgotten the Eljero Elia experience, the former Hamburg man only making four league appearances in Antonio Conte’s first season at the helm.
