Juventus move for Pogba hits stumbling block; but Bianconeri linger

The real Paul Pogba is back. After the long absence during the Mourinho era at Manchester United, the French world champion has finally found his right dimension. In the 5 games played with Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer on the Red Devils bench, Pogba scored 4 goals and 4 assists. In the previous 14 matches with Mourinho the score was only of 3 goals and 3 assists. These are numbers that confirm a real rebirth, inevitably destined to influence the market.

Juventus continue to think concretely about Pogba's return, and not only the management but also the players. "Anyone would like to play with someone like him", this is the message sent by Paulo Dybala to Pogba yesterday. Pogba left indelible memories in Turin and the contacts with former teammates have never stopped. Even now that the fracture with United seems to be recomposed, the world champion would gladly come back to Juventus. In the last few weeks, something has changed at the Old Trafford.

With the confirmation of Mourinho, Pogba's farewell to United would have been in fact unavoidable, while now much will depend on the choice for the post-Solskjaer, who has the role of interim coach. The return of Pogba to Juventus has become more difficult, but not impossible.
