Juventus, Nedved comments on Inzaghi and Sarri speculation

Juventus are currently searching for a new head coach to replace the departing Massimiliano Allegri. After five years at the club, Allegri is leaving due to differences with the upper management at the club and vice president Pavel Nedved has spoken to Sky Sport about a couple of topics, including the speculation linking Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi and Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri to the club.

"I must immediately clarify something that made a fuss: I was not at Max's conference for reasons of work that I could not postpone. I was sorry. We have to make decisions and we have made it. Once a cycle is finished in a natural way, there is no real reason to keep it going. A very important cycle has ended, this cycle will never be repeated here. Max was immense, he won 11 trophies and won almost everything he was asked to. Congratulations to him and to the staff, even to Barzagli. It's their night.

"Inzaghi or Sarri? Assessments in progress, we are not in a hurry. It will not be easy, we know that this cycle will not be repeated. It will be even more difficult. There has not yet been a choice? So far we evaluated Max, we have not contacted other coaches. We have clear ideas, but nothing has been done yet."
