Juventus overtake Inter in chase for Genoa starlet
The 20-year-old Romero joined Genoa only this past summer from Argentine club Belgrano for a fee of 1.5 million euros. Since then, he has impressed for the club, scoring once and assisting once in 11 Serie A appearances.
SportItalia state that Juve have taken concrete steps to sign Romero and to persuade Genoa into selling the Argentine. The midfielder is valued at 20 million euros and a possible deal will see him stay at Genoa till the end of the season.
