Juventus reject Chelsea's improved bid for Alex Sandro

Juventus have rejected Chelsea's € 70 million bid for Alex Sandro, according to Sky Sport.

The Brazilian is a long time target of the Premier League champions and he has already agreed personal terms with the Blues.

The Old Lady, however, is not willing to let the former Porto star leave Turin, especially after the departure of Leonardo Bonucci and the Serie A giants are reported to have rejected Chelsea’s second bid for Alex Sandro after that an opening € 60 million offer was also rejected last month.

According to Tuttosport Juventus will also offer the Brazilian a new deal although their salary offer is not going to match Chelsea’s.

Juventus, in fact, are willing to double Alex Sandro’s wages but they are not going to offer him € 7 million-a-year which is just as much as Chelsea have offered. Juventus have reportedly contacted Chelsea to know Nemanja Matic’s transfer availability and Chelsea are believed to have made an improved bid for Alex Sandro during talks for the Serbian midfielder.

The Serie A giants, however, are not willing to sell Sandro, nor to include him in a player-plus cash swap deal for the Serbian.
