Juventus resume interest in unhappy Real Madrid star

After opting to join Real Madrid this past summer, things haven’t quite gone according to plan for Dani Ceballos.

The 21-year-old has been limited to just eight appearances in all competitions so far this season in a limited role as a squad player, although he did show his quality with a brace against Alaves last month.

However, it won’t come as a huge surprise to many given the world-class level of competition at the Bernabeu, with the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro all vying for the same positions.

Nevertheless, Ceballos will still undoubtedly be disappointed not to have made a bigger impression.

Prior to his move to the Spanish capital, Juventus were also said to be tracking him during his spell with Real Betis.

In turn, as he continues to struggle to establish himself under Zinedine Zidane, there’s a possibility that the Bianconeri could reignite their interest in him next year if he wishes to move on in search of a better chance of more regular football.
