Juventus 2-1 Sampdoria: The Bianconeri secure hard-fought win

Juventus host Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium today as they hope to close off 2018 with a victory, after being somewhat shocked and held to a 2-2 draw by Atalanta on Boxing Day. Sampdoria sit in 5th and will be looking to try and be in a Champions League spot come the turn of the year.
  • Juventus have won eight of their last 10 games against Sampdoria in Serie A (D1 L1), after having won just one of the previous 10 (D6 L3).
  • Juventus have won their last three Serie A home matches against Sampdoria. The last time they won four or more consecutive Serie A home games versus the Blucerchiati was back in 1968 (five).
