According to Sport Mediaset, Sami Khedira has convinced Maurizio Sarri of his importance to the squad, which means the 32-year-old German midfielder will be staying with Juventus. That leaves Emre Can as a spare part, meaning the Bianconeri are likely to say goodbye to the 25-year-old midfielder. The player joined Juventus on a free transfer from Liverpool last season, but clearly Sarri is not convinced enough by Can to remove him from the chopping block, despite him being 7 years younger than his direct competitor in Khedira.
