Juventus-Valencia 1-0, ratings: Szczesny as decisive as Ronaldo and Mandzukic

The goal of Mario Mandzukic in the second half (assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo) allowed the Bianconeri to take all the three points although the Old Lady still needs to win in Switzerland against Young Boys to win their group stage. Manchester United, in fact, have sealed a late 1-0 win against the Swiss side and have also qualified for the next stage of the competition. Valencia will finish third in the group stage and will be ‘relegated’ to Europa League.
Former Arsenal keeper Szczesny was as decisive as Ronaldo and Mandzukic at the Allianz Stadium tonight as the Poland keeper saved Diakhaby’s header seconds before the half time whistle. As for Ronaldo, the former Real Madrid star has already ten goals and seven assists in all competitions so far this season.
Juventus travel to Florence to face Fiorentina next Saturday.
