Leicester and Tottenham target agrees personal terms with Roma

Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel has emerged as a possible transfer target of Tottenham and Leicester City in Premier League. The French striker, however, is reported to have agreed personal terms with AS Roma although there is still not agreement between the two clubs.

AS Roma are not open to offer more than € 18 million but Sassuolo’s asking price is around € 25 million.

Negotiations between the two parties will be ongoing over the coming hours but Defrel is reported to be pushing for a move to the Italian capital where he would join his former boss Eusebio Di Francesco who has just been appointed as the giallorossi new boss.

​Defrel is a very versatile striker who can either play as centre-forward or attacking winger which means he could be used as Edin Dzko’s back-up or as a replacement of Mohammed Salah who has just joined Liverpool for € 50 million.
