Leonardo Bonucci snubs Barcelona move

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci has rejected a chance to join Barcelona, according to reports in Italy. The highly rated centre back had emerged as a top transfer target of Barcelona after that the blaugrana saw their summer transfer priority Marquinhos sign a contract extension with Psg last week.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Juventus are not worried about Bonucci’s future given that the player has not asked to leave the club.



As widely known, Juventus are not open to sell any of their star as the Serie A giants have no financial issues. The club’s policy, however, changes when big players ask the club.

The Italy star has not handed in a transfer request and is not going to do it in the future. The 30-year-old signed a contract extension with Juventus in October and his current deal with the bianconeri expires in 2021. One year ago, Bonucci rejected a chance to move to Manchester City.
