Liverpool and Arsenal on alert as renewal talks with Napoli man stall

Napoli are continuing to work on the contract renewal of Piotr Zielinski and they have no intention of surrendering. The contacts between the management and the agent of the Polish midfielder are continuous but there is still a wide gap to be filled.

The distance, however, is not due to the salary of the player, who will be recognized for his excellent performances, but is mainly due to the release clause. Napoli ask for a clause valid only for foreign clubs set at 90/95 million euros. A figure considered too high by the player, who does not want a clause that exceeds 50 million. Arsenal and Liverpool are teams most interested in the player and could try to take advantage of this stall in negotiations.
