The £100M chase for one of Europe’s hottest striking talents continues with the Daily Mail reporting that Liverpool have now thrown their hat in the ring. The player in question of course is Monaco frontman Kylian Mbappe who has been linked with a big money move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs this summer. 
 

Real Madrid remains in pole-position after reportedly agreeing to pay Monaco over £100M for the 18-year-old but it’s not certain that his next destination will be the Santiago Bernabeu. Barcelona, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked and now Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reported to have made contact with the youngster’s agent to sound out a possible move to Anfield.

The journal states that Klopp has held preliminary talks with the Frenchman’s representatives in what is a bold move to try to land this summer’s hottest transfer target.
