Liverpool owner visited Camp Nou to discuss Coutinho to Barca?
The American was supposed to be there to discuss Coutinho’s situation, the Brazilian having recently signed a new deal with the Reds.
The 24-year-old has long been on the Catalan club’s radar, and PSG’s, too.
This meeting comes in the wake of Jamie Carragher telling employers Sky (via The Daily Mail) that “plenty of players in the past who have signed big contracts at Liverpool, then moved on”.
The former Inter man now earns £ 200k a week, and has extended his Anfield stay until 2022.
Carragher believes that Barcelona are going to try to sign their man regardless. The scorer of five goals and provider of as many assists in Premier League action this season, the Brazilian has impressed on all fronts as Liverpool’s attacking football has won many plaudits.
