Liverpool target Wojciech Szczesny wants to extend his loan spell at AS Roma
With first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech seeking for a long-term stay at the Emirates, Szczesny knows he would not be given enough game time at Arsenal.
According to the Italian paper, AS Roma’s Sporting Director Walter Sabatini has already opened transfer negotiations with the Premier League giants to extend the Poland International’s stay at the Olimpico even if rumors coming from England have linked the 24-year-old shot-stopper with a move to Liverpool next season.
Szczesny, has conceded 24 goals in 26 league games this term, keeping six clean-sheets. His stats are not as good in terms of European games as the he allowed 20 goals in just 8 Champions League games. Real Madrid eliminated AS Roma in the torunament's round of 16.
