Lloris: 'We deserved to go through ahead of Inter Milan'

Tottenham Hotspur captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has thanked PSV for helping them and has said that Spurs deserved to qualify for the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Lloris was talking to BTSport after the game and he said: "We had the PSV's help, it's true, thank you!" We quickly conceded a goal and it was difficult, but we followed our game principles and we had a great game, but we did not win but we qualified.

"We deserved the qualification and the fans celebrated so much in the stadium that I realized we were through."
