Lukaku, Cavani & Co.: Who could be Juventus’ next striker?

With Alvaro Morata more than likely to travel back to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer, Juventus are going to spend big for a top-class striker to replace the talented Spaniard who spent two seasons at the J Stadium.

Speculations over Juventus’ next striker have been mounting recently and at this stage there are four strikers who could pick up the baton left by the product of Real Madrid academy.

Let’s see who could be the Old Lady’s next striker.

Lukaku, Cavani & Co.: Who could be Juventus’ next striker?
    EDINSON CAVANI

The Uruguay International is the bianconeri’s priority at the moment. The former Napoli striker is sick and tired of his position at PSG. Laurent Blanc has been playing him on the right flank giving the key to the Ligue1 giants’ attack to a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The 29-year-old striker has netted 20 goals in all competitions this term and could return to Serie A after completing a € 64 million switch from Napoli back in 2013. His price-tag could be around € 50 million.

    ROMELU LUKAKU

Another name written in capital letters on Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici’s agenda. The Belgium International is client of the powerful players’ agent Mino Raiola. The Italian agent could play a vital role in negotiations  to bring the 22-year-old to the J Stadium.
Scorer of 25 goals in all competitions this term, Lukaku could cost at least € 35 million.

Lukaku, Cavani & Co.: Who could be Juventus’ next striker?CHRISTIAN BENTEKE
Another Belgium International whose performances, however, have not been even comparable to the ones of his compatriots Lukaku this term.
Having only scored eight goals this season, Benteke has been struggling since joining Liverpool last summer and the Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp has already revealed he would not lose any sleep over the 25-year-old’s sale. His price-tag is in the region of € 30 million, but Juventus would negotiate to have him for less than that amount.

    MICHY BATSHUAYI
Lukaku, Cavani & Co.: Who could be Juventus’ next striker?
The22-year-old hit-man has attracted the interest of the best European clubs, having been one of the best players in Ligue1 this season.
The Belgian star will probably leave Olympique de Marseille at the end of the current campaign. West Ham have been linked with welcoming his services too. Signing Batshuayi might not be less expensive than signing anyone between his compatriots Benteke and Lukaku.
Even if his price-tag is believed to be around € 14 million at the moment, sealing his transfer in the summer might require an investment worth €30 million, to say the least.
Even if his name is not as popular as the one of his fellow strikers we mentioned above, Batshuayi netted 20 goals in all competitions this term, 15 in Ligue1 games only, just as much as Edinson Cavani.
