Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola could be close to making a nother marquee signing when the transfer window opens in January according to reports in Mexican media.

According to the report the former Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona manager, is preparing a €70 million offer for PSV Eindhoven's Mexican youngster Hirving Lozano. The player, born in 1995, plays on the left wing but is right footed and came up through the youth ranks at mexian outfit Pachuca where he spent 4 seasons with the first team making 149 appearances and scoring 43 goals across all competitions.

Earlier this summer, Lozano joined Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven signing a 6 year contract where he has been an instant success where he has scored 10 goals in 12 matches across all competitions. This form has led to the manager of current Premier League leaders Pep Guardiola wanting to sign him before any of Europe's other top clubs get involved.

Lozano featured in the 2014 Olympic games for Mexixo and has played 24 times for the Mexican national team scoring on 7 occasions.
