Man United boss Mourinho remains keen on Perisic deal

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is still adamant on pursing Ivan Perisic but demands that Inter Milan must drop their fee of £50m.

The Croatian international has been on the Red Devil’s radar for several weeks, as the side look to strengthen their squad in order to mount a serious Premier League title challenge for next season, with highly-rated Perisic been reported today by The Independent as still one of the key targets for Mourinho.

The Italian giants, Inter Milan, have requested a £50m sum for the wide-man and believe that they can swing a deal, with the Portuguese manager keen on wrapping up key business dealings by July.

It is suggested, though, that Man United will not meet that offer, but they too have some leverage on La Beneamata, with the Serie A club in need of funds to meet the Financial Fair Play requirements – which is due by the end of this month. This leaves the possibility that the transfer could be a done deal sooner rather than later.
