Man United, Liverpool target tells Barca he wants out

Manchester United and Liverpool target Andre Gomes wants to leave Barcelona.

The Corriere dello Sport write that the Portuguese international has told Barcelona that he wants to leave.

The Manchester United target is going to struggle if the Blaugrana sign Jean-Michael Seri, who has been closely linked to them.

It’s been an unfortunate year for Gomes, who went from being a highly-valued midfielder wanted by many clubs (including Juventus), eventually being signed for €35 million after scoring three Liga goals in 30 stars for Valencia.

Gomes is considered to be very technical, but has struggled immensely in the Catalan side. Considered to be someone who could help replace Andres Iniesta in the long term, he never really broke into the side.

It is as yet unknown how much Barcelona want for him, but Don Balon did reveal recently that new Coach Ernesto Valverde has told the 24-year-old that he doesn’t figure in his plans.
