Manchester United and Arsenal have begun negotiations with Santos FC to bring 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Yuri Alberto to England. After watching the U-17 player against England, the two clubs were enamored by the forward’s skill set, and are keen to acquire his services.

Already valued at £37.5 million, according to Metro, Alberto has rocketed up international scouting lists based on his performances with the Brazilian youth team. The two clubs will be keeping close eyes on him in the coming months.

Alberto is set to represent Brazil once again in the current U-17 World Cup in India. The Brazilian’s open play against Spain, and will rely heavily on Alberto’s skill set to achieve the lofty expectations set for them.

In 35 youth matches with Santos, Yuri Alberto drilled an astonishing 51 goals. Santos has their work cut out for them should they want to retain his services in the future. At £37.5 million, they’re certainly doing their best.
