Man Utd news: Red Devils give up on Inter Milan star

19 November at 12:15
According to what has been reported by the Manchester-based news outlet Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have given up their pursuit of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

Manchester Evening News report that the €85million price-tag that Inter have slapped on their centre-back is too much for the Red Devils to fork over for a central defender, instead leaving Mourinho’s side to pursue alternate options.

The current rumours suggest that Manchester United will once again try for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld, who they attempted to sign during the summer but left it too late to negotiate a deal in time with the North London club. United currently face somewhat of a defensive issue, with Chris Smalling, Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof not convincing enough of their critics that they are of the quality the Red Devils should be aiming for.
