Man Utd and Chelsea, Alex Sandro: ‘I want to play in Premier League’

Speaking at a press conference of the Brazilian national team, Juventus defender Alex Sandro spoke about his future, saying, “One day in the future I would like to play in the Premier League, but right now I'm happy in Italy and I want to continue playing for Juventus.” This suggests the Brazilian is well aware of interest in him from clubs like Manchester United, who may now be put on red alert.

United and Paris Saint-Germain were both interested in signing Alex Sandro over the summer, wanting to take him from Juventus when it looked like the Bianconeri had to sell after the arrival of €110m signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.

For now, Alex Sandro will remain in Turin; yet the Brazilian may have grown uneasy at the rumours that Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba is a target of Juventus, who wish to tempt the Spaniard away from La Liga and into a move to Serie A, as they did with Cristiano Ronaldo in July.
