Manchester United eye Juventus midfielder

According to what has been reported by ESPN, Manchester United are expressing an interest in signing Juventus' German central midfielder Emre Can.

Can joined Juventus on a free transfer from Liverpool in the summer of 2018 but has found less space in the team as of late. Therefore, he reportedly is interested in a move elsewhere and the Premier League could once again await Can.

United are looking for midfield additions to bolster their squad and Can would represent a choice of proven quality. An alternative, as per the same reports from ESPN, is Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.
