Are Manchester United shopping around for more centre-backs?

German magazine Kicker thinks so.

The second-best defence in the Premier League (behind Manchester City, who have conceded 25 goals to their rivals' 27) could do with a veteran presence... and that could end up being Naldo, the 33-year-old Wolfsburg defender who shined in midweek against Real Madrid. 

Naldo is having a bit of a career renaissance at the Volkswagen Arena, even smashing in 7 goals last season in 32 Bundesliga games.

The Wolfsburg man left Werder Bremen in 2012 to join Wolfsburg. He joined Werder just a season after they won the Bundesliga (remember Ailton's monster season?), and his current side three years after it won its first- and only - Bundesliga.
