Mayor of Milan: 'I always wanted Totti to join Inter Milan'

The mayor of Milan- Giuseppe Sala, has revealed that he had always wanted Francesco Totti to join Inter Milan when he used to ply his trade with Roma.

Sala is known to be an Inter Milan fan and he was recently interviewed during the end of the year. He said that he always wanted the the giallorossi legend Francesco Totti to join the nerazzurri.

He said: " I had hoped all my life to take him away from Rome, and to see him at Inter . He made a choice of dignity and common sense, I am an admirer of the great captain."
