Milan beating Inter, Fiorentina to Pavoletti

Leonardo Pavoletti is edging closer and closer to AC Milan, according to transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla'.

The Genoa striker, 27, has genuinely emerged over the last year, scoring 17 goals in his last 30 Serie A games.

Having recently recovered from an injury, he was the only piece of good news for Genoa after the Grifone was roundly trounced 4-1 by Carpi on Saturday. Pavoletti opened the scoring in the first half, making it 11 goals for his current campaign.

Pedulla' is reporting that Genoa and Milan have been negotiating over the striker for a while. The two clubs get on like a house on fire (they recently swapped the likes of Juraj Kucka, Alessio Cerci, Luca Antonelli and Suso, to name three), and the Rossoneri are confirmed as leading the competition, mainly Inter and Fiorentina, who are focussing on other targets.
