Milan coach Rino Gattuso spoke to DAZN after the Milan-SPAL (2-1) game, here is what he had to say on the matter:

"I liked how we played today. It wasn't easy since we have struggled of late but we needed to work hard and get the three points tonight. We can still grow and improve a lot but I was happy with the way we approached the game today. Suso? Well he will be a heavy loss for us in the Supercup final but we can't find any excuses. Higuain? He lives to score goals. The goal he scored today was very important for him personally but also for the entire team. He knows that he will have to be more consistent but we are all happy for him. Objectives? It's normal that Maldini and Leonardo expect something more from the team. We know that we can be much better than this, perhaps we lack a bit of experience. I always talk to the management and we have very clear discussions. We will now rest a bit as we want to come back stronger in early 2019...".
