    Exclusive: Dzeko is an idea for Milan

    Milan are looking for a new striker as Carlos Bacca seems set to leave the club in January or at the latest in June of next year. They are looking for a striker who has an international profile. According to Calciomercato.com sources, Milan's new sporting director Mirabelli is considering Edin Dzeko as the player's Roma contract will expire in 2020. After a difficult first year in Rome, Dzeko has now scored 10 goals in 11 Serie A games as he is the current Serie A top scorer. 

    Inter was a team who were interested in signing Dzeko last summer as they still had doubts over Icardi's future. Dzeko had given his okay to a move to Inter but then Icardi renewed his deal and negotiations then collapsed. Milan now seem to be in pole position for the striker who is a huge Milan fan : "I said it many times, I grew up being a Milan fan and my goal is to play in a great squad like AC Milan ". This was a quote from Dzeko during his Wolfsburg days.
