Napoli appeal for Insigne and Koulibaly ban reductions from 2 games to 1

According to what has been reported by Sky Sport, Napoli are to appeal for the suspensions of both Kalidou Koulibaly and Lorenzo Insigne to be reduced from two games to just one, after the pair were sent off in the Neapolitan side's 1-0 defeat to Inter Milan on the 26th of December.

The game was marred by the death of an Inter fan and the racist abuse of Napoli's Koulibaly throughout the game, Koulibaly was sent off after committing a minimal foul and proceeding to sarcastically applaud the referee - leading to his second yellow and dismissal.

Koulibaly and Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti had both asked the referee to suspend the game due to the chants, yet the game continued and the Naples-based side suffered a 1-0 loss, conceding late-on to the Nerazzurri.
