Napoli interested in Llorente, but wage demands may end the deal

According to la Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are interested in former Juventus and Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente. Recently released by the North London side after his contract expired, Napoli are keen to add the experienced striker to their squad, however one detail may cause their interest to cease. The 34-year-old Spaniard wants a three-year deal worth €3.5m a season, a contract that President De Laurentiis is not keen on due to the strikers age and lack of ability to sell the striker following the transfer.
