Ionita and Rincon on Napoli's shortlist for midfield reinforcement
The Partenopei will be looking to sign at least one player in that position next summer, so much so they have already set sights on Verona’s Artur Ionita as well as Genoa’s Tomas Rincon.
As La Gazzetta dello sport reports, the Moldavia International will extend his stay at Verona signing a new contract until 2019, but with ‘the Mastiffs’ which will probably be relegated at the end of the current campaign, there are not too many chances to see Ionita wearing the Blue-and-Yellow shirt in Serie B next year.
Fiorentina are also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old midfielder.
As far as Rincon is concerned, the player’s agent Gaetano Paolillo admitted the player would be open to sign with Napoli next summer.
“We were in transfer talks with Napoli last January, but they eventually decided to sign Grassi instead”, Mr. Paolillo told Radio CRC.
“Napoli would be a point of arrival for my client.”
