Not only Everton: West Ham sound out Mazzarri too

10 October at 16:15
The future of Ronald Koeman and Slaven Bilic is under strict scrutiny as both managers have had a rough start to the season with Everton and West Ham respectively.

Bilic’s West Ham also struggled during the last campaign but despite several managers being linked with the Hammers job, Bilic managed to save his position.

With seven points in the first seven games, however, how long Bilic will stay in charge of West Ham for?

According to Sky Sport (as quoted by iamnaples) West Ham’s board is losing patience with the Croatian boss and have sounded out Walter Mazzarri.

The Italian was in charge of Watford last season but was sacked at the end of the 2016/17 campaign.

Mazzarri is still living in  London and reports claim he’d prefer to coach another Premier League club rather than make return to Italy. Everton have also being linked with welcoming the manager’s services should Koeman get sacked.
