Atalanta has announced that Argentine play-maker Papu Gomez has signed a contract extension at the club. The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Bergamo this summer with both Roma and Milan known admirers.
 

Now his future looks set to be with the club he helped guide to next season’s Europa League after penning a new deal until June 2022 with a salary of €2M-a-season. The player himself will be speaking at a press-conference later today.
