Outlining players scouted by Juventus during Porto-Benfica

Juventus sent scouts to watch Porto-Benfica clash yesterday night. The game ended with a 1-1 draw, but many players impressed the Serie A side’s representatives who kept a close eye on a couple of players in particular.
With the Serie A giants looking for defence and midfield reinforcement, the Old Lady has her sights set on Porto midfielder Otavio and Benfica centre-back Viktror Lindelof.

Otavio, 21, is a versatile midfielder who played in the middle of the pitch yesterday night, but who can also be deployed as left attacking winger. The U-23 Brazil International impressed Juventus scouts yesterday night for his vision and personality in the middle of the pitch and could be the right profile to follow as he’s a young player who, however, is already tested at an International level.

Lindelof, a former Inter target, was almost perfect at the back. A sold-rock centre defender that Juventus may need in the future to replace either Giorgio Chiellini or Andrea Barzagli who have been suffering some injuries of late.

Lindelof hit the woodwork yesterday night and marked perfectly Porto striker Andre Silva who is known to be another target of the Serie A giants alongside his teammate Ruben Neves who, however, started yesterday’s Porto-Benfica clash from the bench.
