Pallotta to find new role for Totti, De Rossi to LA?
Rome holds its flag tightly. And although the phrase sounds at least strange after the two days of banners scattered all over the globe in favour of Daniele De Rossi (one even at the Juventus Stadium) the Giallorossi are preparing to announce a new, small revolution that will involve neither the midfielder nor Claudio Ranieri, but Francesco Totti.
The future of De Rossi could be in Los Angeles, contacts with Los Angeles FC are thought have already begun, Ranieri will probably not be on the bench (names such as Bielsa, Sarri and Gasperini have all been linked) but there might be the new role of Totti.
According to reports from various daily newspapers, by the end of the year, the announcement of the new corporate role that Pallotta has designed for Totti will arrive. That will be promoted with a more operational role than before. Roma are still waiting for Torino to release Petrachi, therefore, Francesco Totti will be appointed as the new technical director. A step forward in the importance of the former captain in the corporate hierarchy because it will keep him in contact with all the choices, both on field and corporate.
