Paper talk: Ibra waits for Milan call, Barcelona star offers himself to Roma

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to join AC Milan in the January transfer window.

The La Galaxy star will see his contract expire at the end of December and according to the Milan-based paper, Zlatan is only waiting for Leonardo to call him to offer him to return to the San Siro.

Ibrahimovic is reportedly willing to join the San Siro hierarchy for just six months. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, money is no problem for the deal. AC Milan, however, have other priorities in January as two of their best man in midfield – Lcuas Biglia and Jack Bonaventura – will remain out of action for several months (the season of the Italy international is over, whilst Biglia could remain out for four months).

Ibra is waiting for a call from Milan, Leonardo is putting all the pieces together and could dial Ibra’s number in the coming weeks.

Meantime in the capital of Italy, Rome, Monchi is thinking of signing Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Brazilian wants more game time and likes the idea of returning to Italy. His agent confirmed to Sky Sport yesterday that a return to Italy is possible and that he is open to beginning talks with Serie A clubs. Barcelona, however, have slapped a huge price-tag on the Brazilian midfielder who joined Inter on loan this past January but wasn’t signed on a permanent deal by the Nerazzurri who had a € 32 million option to buy.

Rafinha is not the only midfielder watched by Serie A clubs as Ivan Rakitic is also being linked with a move to Inter.
