Paper Talk: Mahrez price-tag revealed. Chelsea & AC Milan target set for showdown talks

Calciomercato.com reported yesterday that Roma are interested in signing Leicester City star Ryiad Mahrez. The giallorossi have made an opening € 23 million bid to sign the Algerian star who is reported to have agreed terms with the Serie A giants.
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms Mahrez has given his green light to move to AS Roma although the Foxes have slapped a € 40 million price-tag on the 26-year-old.

AS Roma, however, are not willing to match the player’s transfer fee and negotiations will be ongoing in the coming days.

Arsenal are also reported to be interested in the Algeria International.

Meantime, Chelsea are looking to strengthen their attacking department and despite Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang being the Blues’ transfer priority, Antonio Cone is still keen to sing Andrea Belotti.

AC Milan have already opened contract talks over the signing of the 23-year-old although Torino did not accept the latest rossoneri bid.

According to Tuttosport, the Italian will held showdown talks with Torino president Urbano Cairo on Thursday. The club’s no. 1 expect the Italian star to confirm his will to stay at Torino for one more season but the Turin-based paper believes the player would consider a move away from the Olimpico this summer.
