PAPER TALK - Napoli's offer for Icardi, Manolas wants a renewal, Juve want Witsel

The Gazzetta and Tuttosport focus on Juventus' brilliant transfer market, which could add another couple of star: the Gazza focusses on Nemanja Matic of Chelsea, who could be an awkward third wheel in the Blues' midfield.

Tuttosport focus on Axel Witsel, though Juventus won't match the €30 million offer Everton recently made for Zenit's Belgian star.

The Gazzetta also claims that Alvaro Arbeloa is AC Milan’s first choice for the defence, and that the Spaniard has already accepted Milan's offer.  Adriano Galliani’s tour of Spain saw him have a long phone chat with Oscar Ribot, the 33-year-old Real Madrid defender’s agent.

Roma are also said to be chasing Anderlecht star Yoeri Tielemans... and Borja Valero. Considering how Fiorentina are still very angry at the Capitoline side for their involvment in the Mohamed Salah case, we can safely say that this won't be an easy one for the Giallorossi.

The Corriere dello Sport’s first page is a tough one for Inter fans to read: “Mancini, it’s over! The Inter Coach clashes with Thohir, the club is in total chaos. Inter have denied Mancini a renewal, now he can either leave or be fired. Frank De Boer is already being touted as his successor”.

According to the Roman paper, Erick Thohir is alleged to have told Mancini that he’s “good, but needs to prove it and get in line with our thinking. If you don’t feel like it, or don’t believe in it, you can leave”.

The Coach, for his part, is said to be very angry about the lack of signings. Italy's three main sports papers are running with this one.

The Corriere dello Sport goes into the details of Napoli's offer for Inter striker Mauro Icardi, which includes a €5.5 million-a-season deal, and an €100 million release clause.

Meanwhile, AS Roma's chase for a defender continues, with Bruno Peres or Silvan Widmer being considered.
Crystal Palace and Arsenal fans may be amused to find out that Emmanuel Adebayor is being considered by Cagliari. Just promoted to Serie A, the Sardinians want the 32-year-old to boost their attack.

The Gazzetta dello Sport have some more worrying news for the Roma faitful, however: they insist that Kostas Manolas wants a contract renewal, and that the likes of Chelseaare sniffing around.
