Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici spoke to Sky Sports before the match against Spal as Juventus return to Serie A fixtures after the international break.

"Ronaldo out of the Ballon d'Or podium? Only a fool can doubt his qualities. I think he is the best player in the world and the most important in the history of football. At this moment I see him very serene, as he has always been here at Juve. The fact that he cannot win the Ballon d'Or seems very strange, since he scored 15 goals in one Champions League campaign," he said.
