Paredes drops huge Chelsea transfer hint

Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea seem close to signing the heir of Cesc Fabregas. Both Leandro Paredes and Nicolò Barella have been linked with replacing the Spaniard at Stamford Bridge but it could be the Argentinean star to complete his move to South West London in January.

The former Roma and Boca Juniors star, in fact, has retweeted the post of a Chelsea fan who replied to a question on whether Chelsea should bring in Barella or Paredes. The fan picked up Paredes and the Argentinean appreciated his choice giving him a retweet.
The Argentinean is determined to leave Zenit in January despite a € 4.5 million-a-year deal. Chelsea are willing to offer € 30 million and a contract until 2023. AC Milan had also been linked with signing the former Giallorossi man but Chelsea are in pole to secure his services.

His arrival at Chelsea would close the doors to Nicolò Barella who is a transfer target of Inter and Napoli. The Cagliari star, however, has a price tag of € 50 million.
