Milan: Pellegrini has an agreement with the Chinese

Last night from Chile came the sensational news of the imminent arrival in Italy of Manuel Pellegrini, to sign an agreement to be the next coach of Milan. Today arrived news that Chilean coach has an agreement with the group of Chinese investors who are negotiating with Silvio Berlusconi to take control of the club. If the deal is agreed, Pellegrini will be at the helm next season.

If, however, Milan remains the property of the Berlusconi family, the coach who will lead the team in the next season will be Italian. Whilst Cristian Brocchi remains the favourite, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that former Empoli coach Marco Giampaolo will once again enter the running. A clue here is that the Rossoneri have asked Empoli to keep them informed about any offers for midfielder Riccardo Saponara. If the choice is to be Giampaolo, one of the first transfer targets would be the 25-year-old.
