The man who invaded the pitch during Juventus' Serie A game against Sassuolo yesterday is now reportedly set to be banned from all sporting events.

The man entered the pitch shirtless came onto the pitch to embrace Juve superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and was later frisked away by stewards. He was Belgian and investigations are being carried out to know more about the man.

Sportmediaset state that after being taken away by the stewards from the pitch, the Belgian man was taken to the police station, where he was also accused of overtaking and invasion of camp.

Police authorities have reportedly said that the man will now serve a ban from all sporting events.

Juve picked up a 3-0 win at the Mapei Stadium over Sassuolo, goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Emre Can and Sami Khedira handed them all three points to go as many as 11 points clear at the top.
