De Gea - 6: Not the best of games for the Spaniard and he certainly wasn’t helped by a poor display from his defence
Valenica - 6: An average performance from the United skipper. He wasn’t troubled much by Huddersfield’s attack and likewise he didn’t trouble the Huddersfield left back.
Smalling - 5: A poor performance from the centre back, struggled against the Huddersfield attack and his chance to level the game in the dying was denied.
Jones - N/A: Phil Jones was substituted for Lindelof in the first half after he suffered an injury.
Young - 5: A poor performance from United makeshift left back, poor set piece deliveries into the box which was easily dealt with by Huddersfield.
Matic - 5: Matic didn’t seem to get into the game and control it as he usually has previously for United.
Herrera - 5: Failed to get into the game and make an impact or create any chances.
Mata - 4: A poor first half performance led Mata to being subbed at half time.
Martial - 4: A poor first half performance led Martial to being subbed at half time.
Lukaku - 6: Lukaku had his chance in the first half saved by the Hudderfield keeper, assisted the goal for Rashford.
Lingard - 5: A poor performance from the winger, didn’t create any chances nor trouble the Huddersfield defence.

Lindelof - 4: A horrid performance from the United centre back as he wasn’t under pressure all game and a school boy error from Lindelof led to a Huddersfield goal.
Rashford - 6: Came off the bench at half time and got a goal back for United.
Mkhitayran - 5: Didn’t make any impact by coming off the bench at half time.
