Psg defender talks of collapsed Chelsea move

PSG are having a very good season as they are currently first in the Ligue 1 standings. Emery's club have a four point lead over second placed Monaco. As Neymar and Mbappé joined PSG this pas summer, one player who could've left them was Thomas Meunier. Here is what he had to say about his collapsed move to the EPL as he spoke to Sky Sports (via IlBianconero ) :

"Chelsea made PSG an offer but they did not want to sell me. The reason? Well only I and Dani Alves are right backs so they did not want to let me go since they viewed me as being important to the team. Chelsea? Well I am not thinking about them. They had called me but I stayed in Paris instead. I am fully focused on my team as I am not thinking about the EPL or any other leagues ....".

Meunier has so far appeared in 7 Ligue 1 games this season as he scored an impressive 3 goals and added 1 assist. He has been very good under Emery as he is viewed as an important piece of the puzzle...
