Ramsey to Juve: Emery gives hope to Serie A giants

It was revealed yesterday by reports from Rai Sport that Arsenal FC's Welsh midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, will likely be joining Serie A champions Juventus when his contract with the North London club expires in the summer of 2019.

Ramsey has been a target of a number of top clubs; Chelsea, Liverpool, AC Milan and Inter Milan all touted as possible destinations for the attacking midfielder. Ramsey's contract demands at Arsenal were too high; with the Welshman wanting a figure close to the 350,000 pounds a week that German playmaker Mesut Ozil earns at the Emirates.

Speaking on the topic, Arsenal boss Unai Emery gave hope to Juventus fans:

"For me, the most important thing for every player is the attention. Everyone has their own personal or related situations to the contract, but I have to think only of the present and the future of the Arsenal, he is showing me concentration and attachment and I believe it is not a simple situation for Aaron, but I spoke to him and told him that now we need his contribution. Yesterday he played and put in a great spirit giving us a big hand. And I'm happy about this. As for the future, it is a subject that now concerns only him and his agent."
