Report: AC Milan president's briefcase stolen - contained €10k

After UEFA announced their ruling on AC Milan earlier today, the day got even worse for the Rossoneri's president Paolo Scaroni, who had his briefcase stolen.

According to Corriere Della Sera, the briefcase contained €10k, along with personal documents of Scaroni. While the latter was at an appointment, a thief opened the back door of the car Scaroni was previously in, grabbing the briefcase before escaping the scene.

Scaroni's driver tried to chase the man, but was stopped by a woman who seemed to be a companion of the thief. When the briefcase was recovered later, all the money was gone, though the documents were still there.

In any case, a tough day for Milan, who will have to reach a break-even point already in June 2021. In the 2017/18 season, they made a €123m loss, to put things into perspective.
